Bingo is one of the most common and popular games in the world. So much is its simplicity that even a little child can play it. Thus it has no age restrictions and even a family can sit together and play it.

In casinos, bingo is played in a much bigger way. Here there is a lot of bingo tables located where people of any age (eighteen being the lower limit) can come up and play a round. Here the interested players need to buy bingo cards and there is a caller. The caller calls out the bingo numbers. Each of the cards purchased by the players has a set of five numbers. The caller keeps picking up balls and calling out numbers and if the number is in your card, you cross it out. In the process, the first person who strikes out all the five numbers in the card says “bingo” to emerge the winner. So, in some respects this is a game that resembles a game called “housie” to a certain extent. And hence it is also a family game.
